The Somerset Chamber Orchestra has performed concerts in and around the
county for more than 20 years.
Following its origins in 1979 as a string ensemble, a residential orchestral course was held annually at the end of August until 1999. In recent times, residential courses have continued but on a smaller scale, exploring chamber music repertoire. In 2004, concerts were performed at South Petherton Parish Church, and as part of the "Music at St Mary's" series in Cannington. |
